At Pipsy’s we believe that children thrive when provided excellent nutrition and the opportunity to explore new foods. We follow the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) guidelines but additionally offer a fresh menu. We make it a priority to offer fresh fruits and vegetables every day as well as fresh prepared meals for breakfast and lunch. This allows us to also make adjustments for dietary restrictions to accommodate children with unique dietary needs. We also offer first year dietary support by providing a comfortable space for nursing mothers, if they choose to nurse on site, and whole food introduction such as baby led weaning and “101 by 1”. We offer resources and nutritional support to families that would like additional information about how to help children develop a healthy palate for a variety of foods.

Water bottles are available through out the day and children are encouraged to drink water as much as they want to stay hydrated.
